Leicester Sports Arena*, also known as Morningside Arena, is home of the national Club basketball champions, the Leicester Riders. Edge Interiors designed and fitted out the new club shop – a retail outlet for Leicester Riders merchandise. This work was from initial design concepts to build out and hand over.
Following the successful build and launch of the new store, we also completed a refit of the home and away changing rooms, creating functional and highly presentable looking facilities.
We are currently building an additional pop up shop for the Arena to expand the matchday retail opportunity for the club.
The Arena provides an ideal venue for regional, National or International sporting/entertainment events with a capacity of up to 3,000 people [between 2,400 and 2,800 seated]. Major televised boxing events have already been staged by Frank Warren with BT Sport, and Barry McGuigan’s Cyclone Promotions with Channel 5. The Arena has also staged SuperLeague netball matches on Sky Sports, and Great Britain World Cup basketball matches. Find out more here – https://www.leicesterarena.co.uk/.
